Bandanas For Hikers

Bandanas bring out that little bit of “cowboy” in all of us, don’t you think. Brightly colored fabric squares in exquisite designs . . . the louder the better. Of course, bandanas do have a very useful purpose for hikers, even if they’re not riding in the dustĀ from a cattle herd. Some of them even have an inbuilt insect shield to “discourage” the bugs from biting whilst you’re out on the hiking trail.

Bandanas are a very simple accessory but can be very useful. Just make sure that;

  • your bandana is large enough to tie comfortably around your neck or your brow
  • your bandana has a button-hole (many do) so that you can easily fasten it to any button on your hiking shirt or coat for easy accessibility and storage. Beats tucking it up your sleeve!

Whenever you go hiking, it’s always a good idea to add a little style with a bandana.
