Scarves – How Do You Wear Yours (While Hiking)
Scarves . . . they’re not just for students you know, even hiking students . . . a scarf has a very real place in any respectable hikers hiking wardrobe. Scarves are just so versatile.
Of course, scarves do come in many different lengths, colors and fabrics. You can wear them in so many different ways, you can tie them up around your neckĀ and stuff them down your hiking jacket . . . you can nonchalantly fling them across your shoulder (not actually very effective for hiking, this way they don’t keep you warm and can get tangled in branches strangling the life out of you), you can wrap them around your head to fashion yourself a scarf / hat / ear warmers. You can even wrap them around your hands if you’ve forgotten your hiking gloves, wear them as a make-shift sling for any injured hikers . . . even use them as an extra rope to hold your tent down securely.
However you choose to wear your scarf while hiking . . . don’t leave it at home . . . a scarf really can fill many different hiking roles.
Well that should have given you a few ideas about scarvesĀ . . . although not necessarily for hiking.
