Hiking Towels . . . .
What’s So Special About Hiking Towels
Hiking towels are pretty neat, and I’m not just saying that because I love hiking, I mean, hiking towels are pretty neat for other things too . . . . sports, gym sessions, yoga, beach, swimming pool . . . loads of different things.
Okay, so maybe I should answer the questions . . . .
What’s So Special About Hiking Towels – 5 Good Reasons
- Hiking towels are ultra lightweight and fold up very small (yep, so does a handkerchief)
- Hiking towels absorb a phenomenal amount of liquid, up to 3 or 4 times its own weight . . . .but
- Hiking towels can be wrung out really easily, so they’re dry again in no time at all
- Hiking towels have a little loop attached to one corner so that you can easily hang them up to dry . . . or on a tree branch for when you need them . . . that wouldn’t be a bad idea for regular towels actually . . . so that you could loop them on a hook in the bathroom whilst you were in the shower . . . note to self, sew loops onto regular towels and make small fortune . . . .
- Hiking towels stay odor free for much longer, no matter how many times you use them . . . well, that’s what they say anyway, and I must admit that I haven’t had problems with smelly towels myself, but then again I couldn’t guarantee that for every stinking hiker I’ve met along the trail . . . you know who you are, there’s a reason we call you “Doug the Dung” you know, and it’s not kind!
So there you have five very good reasons why hiking towels are worth their money . . . They take up little more space than a handkerchief but are much better at drying even the most important little places and covering up your privates, and they’re dry in no time at all . . . have you bought yours yet?
